Jack Dziak is a C-suite executive and Board Member in the enterprise IT and communications services industries. In a career spanning over 30 years, he has extensive global experience in managing complex technology businesses, from hyper-scaled IT and communications services to systems integration and strategic consulting.
Jack is the CEO of Dziak Advisory Services LLC, a consulting firm focused on providing profitable growth strategies to corporations, private equity and venture investors focused on edge computing, enterprise IT services, hyper-scaled infrastructure, security, and communications services.
Among his many executive roles, Jack was most recently President and COO of Apcela, a provider of managed application acceleration and software-defined networking services for global enterprises. Prior he was Executive Vice President, Global Products at Sungard Availability Services, with P&L responsibility for the $1.2B global product, service and solutions portfolio (including private and public managed cloud, disaster recovery, security, storage, backup, colocation and other virtualized production and recovery services). In addition, he was responsible for the global strategic distribution relationships with major strategic partners in the Hybrid IT ecosystem. He also held the role of Chief Strategy Officer during his six-year tenure.
Throughout his career, Jack has held C-level strategy and development leadership positions with Neustar, Inc., Sprint Nextel, and MCI Communications (sold to Verizon in 2006). He had a 15-year career in strategy and technology consulting, during which he was a Partner in Accenture’s Communications and High Tech industry practice. Jack started his career at Coopers & Lybrand LLP where he was the lead financial economist for the privatization of national telecommunications concerns in Latin America, Europe, Asia and Africa. He has worked in over 30 countries.
Jack holds an MBA from the University of Chicago – Booth School of Business, with concentrations in Finance and Economics. He also holds a BS (Cum Laude) in Economics from Virginia Tech’s Pamplin College of Business, graduating first in his major. He is Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), earning his charter in 1992. He was also a contributor to The Economic Report of the President, while working in The White House as a Junior Economist for the President’s Council of Economic Advisers in 1987.
